Alas, my love affair with a friend's borrowed Nikon D70 came to its inevitable end (much thanks again, Dave) a month after my fledgling attempts at creating photographs. That left me with a point-and-shoot Canon. It took not-so-bad pictures for what it was, so I thought that perhaps, with a little photo manipulation, something halfway decent might come out of it. The camera promptly, and somewhat mysteriously, went belly-up and refused to even power on. That left a very, very cheap point-and-shoot Nikon as my only photographic outlet. Just as suddenly and mysteriously, that camera began to behave as if it had a shuffle mode, randomly turning out sepia pics, or blurry long-exposure pics, intermingled with the very occasional normal photo. Is this a joke that the universe finds hilarious? Am I on Candid Camera?
